The whole complex is dated and tired looking bathrooms are old bath with shower dripping taps. Floor coverings stained and worn
Could have being shown to our room - we were just given a key and told to go around the back ! Took us 20 min to find room. Not good value for $ rooms dated and tired hallways stained ceilings water stained. Would be ok for $100 night not $174!😞

The room with three beds was comfortable, and the location was convenient, close to Trips and Tramps.

Possibly the best and such great stay during winter time. Spacious, updated rooms with all the amenities. Easy check-in, outstandingly accommodating employees. Nice restaurant, for dinner.

The room was luxurious and clean, with convenient amenities like a small fridge and an electric kettle, and the food options were exceptional with a great variety to choose from.

Coming and going at will and being able to make bookings for travel to milford sound. Having a refridgerator in the room meant we could keep food we needed cold as well as thinking about where we were heading next. Being assisted in making the appropriate bookings to go to Milford sound was great and knowing we would be picked up and dropped off at our Hotel afterwards meant freedom of mind. The hotel room was lovely and clean and the staff were accomodating when my friend and I did not want to share a bed so we were given a queensized bed and a single.
While watching the television we noted that the speaking did not correspond with what was happening on screen as it was like having delayed words and made the viewing quite distracting. Having the toilet door not closing properly was not easy especially when one was on the toilet and the other person was close by. The smells fromm the toilet infiltrated the room as well.

The units are cheap, airy with double bed, hairdryer, for example. As for me, the location is great, to all the main shops in the town.

- Shared kitchen available - big rooms - fridge and microwave in the room
- very poor WiFi / internet - worn out, very old rooms - poor shower, never had such bad water pressure - either very hot or very cold water in the sink, not very convenient - only 2 TV broadcast stations?? - you can hear everything through the walls

The booking clerk was helpful but thats all!
We felt that the room we had was rundown and in need of a coat of paint, nothing like we saw on the internet when booking. We feel cheated by the accommodation that was actually provided. The facilities were not very good and didnt like the fact that we had to get water from the bathroom. I recommend that you put in a small tap outside the bathroom area as is not hygienic to get water from the bathroom. Having travelled extensively in the South Island recently, we rate Te Anau as overpriced, overated and expensive.

Room booked had a balcony, and it was priced at £86. The location is fantastic, nestled away from the hustle and bustle of the main road. 🌿

Tim
The food was reasonably priced.

Staff were really good and room was comfortable.
Do not like shower over bath - hard to get into. Not enough walking room around bed. Pool not kept up to temperature as presumably out of season, but pool should have no season. The pool was the reason why we chose this hotel, so rather disappointed..
